Applicants must have a job offer meeting a minimum salary threshold, which varies by age. The permit is typically granted for the duration of the employment contract (up to 5 years) and includes family reunification rights. After 5 years of continuous residence, permit holders may apply for permanent residency or Dutch citizenship.
